Short intro to Xinjiang by Jeff
Xinjiang is huge, 17% of the country’s landmass, 1.66 million square kilometers (China total land area = 9.6 million), which is three times the size of France, or bigger than Alaska in North America. It is mostly desert, mountains, basins and high plateaus, with a few beautiful lakes. Weather is harsh here. When we arrived on 5 August, the temperature was 41 degrees. In the winter, it can drop to minus twenty.
For our one-month Red Tour adventure in Xinjiang, we will get a far west as Aksu and as far south as Korla. It is already starting out as an amazing lunar cycle.
The Uyghur people in China are members of the Turkic language group, of which there are many derivatives, starting in Turkey, of course, and there’s a swath going from there to the east through South Central Asia. They are, at varying degrees, mutually understood, from 0 to maybe 75%, depending on the dialect. For example, Turkish and Uyghur are 30% mutually comprehensible.
So Uyghurs are, in fact, Turkic people.
Xinjiang’s population is 26 million, 58% Muslim. The capital is Urumuqi. It has four million residents. Hami has 670,000 citizens. Shihezi, Karamay, Korla and Aksu are other cities we are visiting each have about 500,000 souls.
West to east, Xinjiang has common international borders with Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia. Internally, it borders the provinces of Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet, north to south. It is now a hugely important nexus in Asia’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), connecting the rest of China with the rest of Mackinder’s Heartland. On that note,

The Zhou Enlai Memorial in Shihezi, Xinjiang exemplifies why he was such a critical and essential figure to the success of China’s Communist Revolution.
Like Mao Zedong, because Zhou was so successful, the Judeo-West likes to denigrate him, saying that he was Mao Zedong’s dog and Mao Zedong’s servant, the pretty face of Communist China, while Mao spent all his time killing millions of his fellow citizens, etc.
All this Sinophobic tripe was and still is generated by well-paid Talmud-Tanakh, Mossad-CIA-MI6 whores and factotums, who spew this garbage across Planet Earth. It is the worst Judeo-Big Lie Propaganda Machine vomit.

Zhou Enlai was a towering giant in the founding, development and expansion of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He was also a foot soldier for the Communist Revolution, risking his life on numerous occasions, in the line of fire.
As Premier, China’s Number Two leader, he took on many projects voluntarily, for the Politburo and when Chairman Mao needed a project to get a boost, Zhou was there. His dossier was overflowing.
Like his comrade and friend, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai’s first preoccupation was the betterment of the 99%. In the Mao Era, 85% of them were living in the countryside, where they both traveled, studied and investigated various projects.
We learned in this memorial that Zhou was Top Gun Encryptionist, responsible for the nation’s secret codes to send messages around the country. There is a photo below. You can see a Chinese man looking at Zhou’s picture and on the left is one of his many sets, like Morse code. He was constantly changing them so that the Talmud-Tanakhs could not crack their codes and snoop on Baba Beijing. He helped pass a law in the National People’s Congress (NPC) on encryption, still on the books today.
Zhou Enlai and Chen Yi (military marshal, politician and diplomat famous for his when-out-of-uniform, trademark aviator sunglasses and white Mao shirts) came to Shihezi in 1965 and spent a week doing an inspection tour of the XPCC. Thus, the genesis of this memorial, which is so popular in Shihezi, that it’s magnificent, green and flowered grounds have been converted to and open, public park.
Zhou Enlai was very charismatic, respectful and good at pressing the flesh, talking to the people, inspiring them with his wit, his charm, optimism and his enthusiasm for the Communist Revolution. Like Mao Zedong, he was and still is adored and revered by the Chinese people.
