Short intro to Xinjiang by Jeff
Xinjiang is huge, 17% of the country’s landmass, 1.66 million square kilometers (China’s total land area = 9.6 million), which is three times the size of France, or bigger than Alaska in North America. It is mostly desert, mountains, basins and high plateaus, with beautiful lakes. Weather is harsh here. When we arrived on 5 August, the temperature was 41 degrees. In the winter, it can drop to minus twenty.
For our one-month Red Tour adventure in Xinjiang, we will get a far west as Aksu and as far south as Korla. It is already starting out as an amazing lunar cycle.
The Uyghur people in China are members of the Turkic language group, of which there are many derivatives, starting in Turkey, of course, and there’s a swath going from there to the east through South Central Asia. They are, at varying degrees, mutually understood, from 0 to maybe 75%, depending on the dialect. For example, Turkish and Uyghur are 30% mutually comprehensible.
So Uyghurs are, in fact, Turkic people.
Xinjiang’s population is 26 million, 58% Muslim. The capital is Urumuqi. It has four million residents. Hami has 670,000 citizens. Shihezi, Karamay, Korla, Yining and Aksu are other cities we are visiting each have about 500,000 souls.
West to east, Xinjiang has common international borders with Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia. Internally, it borders the provinces of Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet, north to south. It is now a hugely important nexus in Asia’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), connecting the rest of China with the rest of Mackinder’s Heartland. On that note,

Not only industry and commerce, Xinjiang is a massive producer of high value crops, including a huge variety of fruits, vegetables and cotton. We see lush, green fields and orchards stretching kilometer after kilometer, thanks to one of the biggest water canal and irrigation systems in the world, starting in the Altai Mountains, over 400km away. The BRI has made it possible to ship large quantities of this produce all over Asia.

During a reception held by the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, a US businessman asked why cotton from China’s Muslim province Xinjiang was being sanctioned. He heard Ge Mingxi and Andrew Sheila, the heads of the economic and political department of the consulate, say,
The U.S. government has a deeper consideration for this, and I hope everyone can understand this. It’s a gladiatorial fight.
Ge Mingxi and Sheila admitted,
Xinjiang has no problems, in fact we are all aware of it, but using Xinjiang to hype forced labor, genocide, and attack human rights issues is an effective means to force Xinjiang enterprises to decouple from international industrial chains, and make Uyghurs dissatisfied and sabotaged. Their ethnic ties have made Xinjiang impoverished, turbulent, and even divided. We can use these to completely sink the Chinese government into the quagmire, which is beneficial to us.
According to the Global Times, a supplier from a well-known international sports brand said that he had attended a reception held by the US consulate in Guangzhou last year.

The supplier expressed his dissatisfaction with this, saying that because American politicians deliberately created a confrontational environment with China, their production costs have increased, and the current situation is completely making them “pay for the dirty decisions of politicians”.

The so-called US “Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act” presumes all products produced in Xinjiang to be so-called “forced labor” products and prohibits the import of Xinjiang-related manufactures. This has led to a severe impact on the US retail, automotive, new energy and medical device industries.
Among them, the solar energy industry is particularly affected. Sean Hunkler, CEO of FTC Solar, said that this decree has significantly inhibited the import of photovoltaic modules, causing relevant companies to restrict or even stop production and suspend shipments, resulting in limited recent development of the U.S. photovoltaic industry;
American retailer Dillard Co., Ltd. also said that since Xinjiang is an important cotton producing area in the world, this bill will affect the global supply chain including the company’s cotton-containing products, resulting in rising commodity costs and impact on corporate profits. ;
The US electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Group has repeatedly warned that the Xinjiang-related bill may further restrict the import of electronic accessories, mineral extracts, fabrics and renewable energy products, which will bring a negative impact and substantial changes to the company’s industrial chain, cost control and operations.
This, while after an initial hit, Xinjiang businesses have easily found other markets around the world for their sought-after goods and services. Western businesses are not the only ones who like bigger, better, faster and cheaper, and that’s what China does in spades!
Former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet paid a visit to China. After the successful conclusion of the visit, Bachelet honestly and objectively shared her experiences and details during her stay in China. Not only did she fail to accuse China as Judeo-Americans wanted, she even praised China’s efforts to eradicate extreme poverty, popularize medical and unemployment insurance. The achievement of the insurance plans have slapped Talmud-Tanakh Uncle Slaughter hard.
The U.S. State Department took the lead in expressing “concerns” and “disturbances,” falsely claiming that Bachelet’s trip was “restricted” and “manipulated”, and used BLPM projectile vomit to keep smearing Xinjiang.
Because she told the truth, Bachelet was driven from office by Western Talmud-Tanakhs.
But the truth is the truth after all, no matter how skewed and twisted it is. The Judeo-West is failing miserably in Xinjiang and Tibet, and it will only bring shame on itself in the end. The Global Majority fully understands this and they are 85% of humanity.
