This cadence is going to slow way down, yet my workload is going to increase behind the scenes.

Amir Khan and I are continuing with our Red Tour 2026 in Xinjiang Province. During our 30 days visiting the top Communist Revolution and Chinese Civil War sites in Sinoland’s celebrated and biggest Muslim area, we will be doing a highlight audio-visual post every day. We will be moving fast, on the fly, so AV production on one’s phone is a pain in the keester, which is going to take quite a bit of time. Here it is,

When Amir and I finish, first of September, Evelyne and I are moving from Taiwan Island to Kunming, Yunnan Province, because the weather there is very beneficial for her. She can’t handle summers almost everywhere else in Sinoland, as it has a very negative impact on her health. She’s literally allergic to hot, humid weather. We gave it our best shot on beautiful Jade Mountain Island for two years, love the people and culture, but must make the change,

At the same time, Amir and I will be writing finishing our 2025-2026 Red Tour book. It is going to be a photo journal with lots of comments and articles, which is a huge project.
Simultaneously, I have another book project that I want to do, which I’ve never done before. Although it’s not nearly as hard as what Amir and I are are doing, it will take up the rest of my days.
I’m 72 years old and only have 24 hours a day like everyone else. Therefore, probably until January 2027, the only posts that I will be doing are China Writer Kwan Lee’s short video collections every two or three days, because he has no other outlet. Also, if China Writer Visual Editor Magnus Kjægaard writes anything, I will publish his posts, because he too has no other outlet.
Thus, for everybody else in the China Writers’ Group, I hope you understand my situation. Twenty minutes here, 15 minutes there, 30 minutes here, and all of a sudden, half your day is gone. I simply will not have that time starting today, until the end of 2026, Year of the Red Fire Horse.
Therefore, Sinoland fans, I hope you enjoy the audiovisual posts that Amir and I will be doing each day for the next 30 days and hang in there for my dry run until the first of 2027.
