Shenzhen
Note: I lived and worked in Shenzhen, 2016-2019. Amazing place!
Introduction
It is important to realize that what is happening in Shenzhen is happening all over China, even in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th-tier cities, down to towns and villages. Shenzhen is not the exception, it’s the mundane Sino-normal. More on these smaller bergs in many future posts.

Neighborhood performances
#1: there is a short clip below from this performance, but just in case you prefer photos. There are neighborhood performances like this all over China all the time. This one in Shenzhen was just around the corner from where we stay for €12 a night. Neighbors pitch money together to buy and/or make costumes. This is after the final curtain, so the performers from different acts are all together: the ladies in front, the four ladies in pink shirts; the two men in blue and the other on the ends in traditional dress, left center is a two-lady act in salmon colored dresses and next to them the lady director dressed in civies.
Look really closely upper left and you will see a communist hammer and sickle. The local Communist Party of China (CPC) helps organize and fund these social events, along with the local committees. Be sure to keep up your fear and loathing of the CPC. You can see how it destroys the lives of the citizens!
#2a-2c: walk a few streets over and another public park is throbbing with neighborhood fun. This performance was done under a huge, covered amphitheater, which serves as a place to go during the rainy season. It is much bigger than the first one.
Behind the saxophone players on the right is an image of Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, with Mao Zedong’s cherubic painting for all to see. Notice the backdrop is the national flag. Patriotism is everywhere.
Two men who performed in an opera still have a lot of make-up to remove, when they get home.
While they were congratulating themselves, another troupe of ladies is warming up for their production.
They all have fun, but take their acting and dancing very seriously. After all, they are expressing 5,000 years of Chinese civilization.
Public parks are an essential nexus of Chinese civilization
#3: this scene is ubiquitous in every Chinese public park. During the work week, retirees play cards, musical instruments, sing revolutionary Red Songs, gab and gossip. Weekends and after school, kids with parents and grandparents flood into play and gab.

From the smallest hamlet to the biggest mega-cities, Chinese society is throbbing with economic activity, almost 24/7
#4a-4c: the videos below give a better impression, but you may prefer photos. These were taken at 8-9 o’clock in the evening in Shenzhen. There is more economic activity on one Chinese city block than in most entire towns in the Judeo-West. I stood in one place, turned and took three shots.
It’s like this ALL over China. Amir Khan and I traveled to a number of lower tier cities and towns and their night life shames Shenzhen’s, with tens of thousands locals walking the streets and filling up parks and restaurants (our series link is below).
Notice the air conditioning units hugging the building walls. It gets really hot and humid in much of China in the summer.
As you can see, the Talmud-Torah Big Lie Propaganda Machine is right: oh, how the Chinese people are oppressed, starve and live in misery!

Chinese rest during the afternoon heat, then come out roaring until 10-11-o’clock in the evening
#6: even down to the smallest towns, it’s like this all over China.
OH, what a life a misery and drudgery!
#7: again, you can see how tragic and horrific are the lives of the Chinese. Just ask Judeo-Fox News, New York Times, BBC and The Guardian. They’re the experts!
Chinese are some of the most gregarious people in the world
#8: always fun to watch are the thousands of Chinese who come out every evening after dinner to dance, do tai chi, exercises, play music and sing songs.
Chinese cities are Talmud-Torah shitholes… N-O-T!!
#9: scenes like this one above seem to go on forever in Shenzhen and cities big and small. The blue and white e-taxis are ubiquitous and dirt cheap. Construction is ongoing everywhere you turn. Sidewalks and streets are spotless and there is greenery in every direction. All the way down to the smallest villages, public places are neat, tidy, safe and green.
Those cranes are helping install another subway line. Up to about 16 these days.
Can Evelyne have this dance? Of course!
#10: people are always dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, singing revolutionary Red Songs, doing tai chi and exercising in public parks, from sunrise to bedtime. When dancers see Evelyne, they always grab her for a little ball room strutting and she’s always happy to participate.
Notice all the garbage, gangs, weapons, homeless people, tent cities, drug dealers and their addicts passed out on the sidewalks, wallowing in their own vomit. You have no idea how frightening it is to walk around China, day or night. You may not make it home alive! You can see Evelyne truly fears for her life and safety… She might even get raped or kidnapped!
Chinese education is not like the Judeo-Weimarized variety elsewhere
# 11a-11b: schools are a huge part of life in China and they are everywhere, from kindergarten to 6th grade, middle school, high school and universities.
These two short videos show a grade school in Shenzhen. I caught them during their recess. You can see that they’re exercising, having fun and really enjoying themselves. They have taken off their red kerchiefs which show that there are members of the Communist Youth League, so that they can exercise without getting them all sweaty.
I’m not going to go into the details of translating all that is on the walls. They are aphorisms about positive spirituality, morality, good conduct, Confucianism-Daoism-Buddhism-Socialism-Communism-Marxism-Leninism-Maoism-Xiism. Chinese get a grounded, moral, spiritual, STEM, accountable, competitive education that Judeo-Westerners cannot even begin to dream of. Everywhere where the Talmud-Torah Bologna Process is adopted around the world, it’s all Wokeist, pedophile, transhumanist, transsexual “education”, focusing on dumbed-down soft sciences, where “everybody passes”, thus turning the hapless 99% into stupid, ignorant masses, who can be easily brainwashed by the Judeo-Big Lie Propaganda Machine.

Chinese are food crazy and love to go out to restaurants
#12: Chinese, even down to the village level, are maniac about eating out. I like to joke that there are restaurants every 50 meters. They are cheap and delicious. Service is almost always outstanding. You don’t have to leave a tip.
This is a Hunan hotpot place. Mom and Pop have a calculator and are going over their budget. You can see Evelyne with her red hair and green dress. Cold beer in the frig, a condiment caddy to spice up the dishes, with humorous jokes and plays on words plastered on walls. What else can you ask for?
Conclusion
I hope you enjoy these final photos and videos of our stays in Shenzhen showing daily life in China. Like I said at the beginning, yes, it’s Shenzhen, but as you will see when we report from other provinces, cities, towns and villages, it’s a microcosm of the Chinese people in general.
