It is impossible for non-Chinese people and observers to understand the love the Chinese people have for their dedicated leader, simply because they did not experience what the Chinese people had experienced and therefore could feel what the Chinese felt about their leader.  Life experiences decide people’s emotions and feelings.  When I visited North Korea,  I did not feel the same way as North Korean people’s love for their leaders.   Tears ran down their eyes instantly at the mention of names of the Two Kims.   But I know where that kind of love comes from.  I understand it because I have the same feeling for Mao.   I know why my parents and my relatives felt that way for Mao when I grew up in the 1970s.  I am over 70 now, but my emotions and feelings  for Mao never change over the years.

I don’t have your personal experience, Dongping but I can say that without Mao, China would not have resurrected and the present China would only be a faraway daydream but it’s not at all a mere faraway daydream; it’s factual reality for those having the eyes, the minds and the hearts to see, to understand and to rejoice.

And it’s only the beginning of the adventure. Mao radically changed China and China will radically change the World. She is already radically and dynamically changing the World right now as we speak.

Everything, everything achieved afterwards by Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping and the future ones to come would not have been possible at all without the rock solid foundation laid down by Mao Zedong.

And here a lot of things can be said but I limit myself to the most important realization according to my understanding : Mao has absolutely awakened the Chinese people.

Mao has made the Chinese people remember who they are. All the rest is the inevitable and quite expected consequence of this awakening for those knowing well Chinese History.

I speak with a more traditional language, it’s what the Ancien Régime called Imperial Majesty, the true one, Virtue manifest 德.

I am speaking from a basic and encompassing epistemological standpoint, from the standpoint of the development of the Body-Mind-Soul which is universal and applicable in any time, not about the limited view of a particular political regime like monarchy using a certain specific lexicon.

Mao Zedong is the absolute incarnation, the living embodiment of the thesis of the Great Man in Universal History.

You said it very well.   Mao has changed the world.

Many years ago, I had an email debate with my former adviser.   I said that Mao was  the most democratic leader in Chinese history.   He wrote back that I must have taken something.   I called him to debate with him.   But he was not home.   I told his wife what he said about my email.   His wife told me that it was him who had taken something when he wrote that email.  When Mao was alive, Chinese workers, farmers and  soldiers were the majority in the government.  Chinese officials, like Chen Yonggui, Wang Jinxi, continued to work with farmers and workers even after they were elected to the high offices of the government.   Throughout the country, officials were living and working with the common people.  There is no such a government in the history of humanities.    It was really a government of the people and for the people. and a democracy in spades.

Everything I have researched says that without Mao Zedong, the PRC would be no more, except in name only: just another Balkanized, continent-sized resource whore for the Judeo-West.
