Wang Mingzhi said, “The ‘Nantianmen Plan’ integrates discrete cutting-edge technologies such as hypersonic flight, air-space dual-mode propulsion combination, metamaterial stealth, adaptive configuration of aircraft, unmanned autonomous cluster collaboration, AI-enabled efficient decision-making, directed energy weapons, and air-space round-trip travel into a system concept based on sci-fi fighter jets. ‘These discrete cutting-edge technologies are not a matter of whether they can be realized, but rather a matter of which ones to realize first and when to realize them all.'”
The “Nantianmen Project” is a Chinese-developed aviation-themed science fiction IP. Its core is to construct a global comprehensive strategic defense system consisting of large strategic aerospace carrier platforms, aerospace fighters, and tactical mechanics.
The “Nantianmen Plan” reminds many Chinese military enthusiasts of the “Star Wars Program” of the United States.
